This is a project comes under Sarva Shiksha Abiyaan, a Central Government scheme to achieve "Education for All".
Alternate schools are for the school dropout children between age 6-14. Our Educational Coordinator ensures the effective and efficient
implementation of these schools within the 10 villages of Vavipalayam panchayat. We are giving special training and
guidance to the teachers of Alternate school. If there is a minimum of 15 students in a school, the teacher will get
a salary of Rs.1000/month. Otherwise he/she will get Rs.50/student. For Example, if there are 5 students, the teacher will get a
salary of Rs.250/month. Objective of these schools are to give them enough orientation and put them back to the regular school.
Atpresent most of these children are going for work.
